Day 1 – Edinburgh:
Your journey begins departing from Edinburgh Waverly Station as you are welcomed aboard the Royal Scotsman luxury train. As you depart in the early afternoon, you journey north as you are surrounded by the spectacular scenery of the Highlands, the perfect opportunity to head to the Observation Car. Leisure time on boar is ideal for settling in to your luxury cabin or conversing with fellow guests. The evening holds an informal dinner followed by entertainment in the Observation Car.
Day 2 – Rothiemurchus:
After a leisurely breakfast, we board a coach for a short transfer to Rothimurchus Estate, located in the centre of Cairngorms National Park. Guests are invited to try activities in this magical setting such as fishing, clay pigeon shooting or a tour of the estate. Lunch is served back on the train where we travel to Culloden Battlefield for a private tour. The evening holds a tour of the Strathisla Distillery, one of the oldest and home to famous Scottish whiskies. It’s then back on board for some stunning scenic views as a formal dinner is served.
Day 3 – Edinburgh:
As we head back to Edinburgh Waverley Station, enjoy a leisurely breakfast and take in the views as we leave Dundee.
