Book sleeper journeys with a deposit

For just 25%* deposit, you can reserve your cabin on a journey of a lifetime and pay the rest later. Ideal if you are planning ahead, paying a small deposit guarantees you will have a place on the journey of your choice, providing you pay the remaining balance according to the terms of the individual journey.

You can then pay the balance as and when you wish, as long as your journey is paid in full 30 weeks before departure. All payments are subject to our extensive cancellation policy.

*Paris to Istanbul as well as Istanbul to Paris aboard the Venice Simplon-Orient-Express and journeys aboard the Royal Scotsman, as well as any Grand Suite bookings are exclusive, as such the deposit required is 50% with the remaining balance due 200 days before the departure.

Please note that discount and promotional codes can't be used in conjunction with a booking where a deposit has been paid.

Deposits are non-refundable, we recommend that you take out a travel or day trip insurance policy independently.

Payment terms for Golden Eagle journeys; Danube Express requires £2,500 deposit upon booking followed by £2,500 instalment 26 weeks before the journey. The balance will be due 27 weeks before the departure.
