The Royal Scotsman features two elegant dining cars called Raven and Swift. The Raven dining car is reminiscent of the drawing room of a grand Highland estate, offering a sociable feel with larger tables and long central setups for up to eight guests. A meal in this car is the perfect opportunity to get to know your fellow travellers. For a quieter dining experience, the Swift car offers a more relaxed and unhurried setting and can feature tables for two or four guests.

The Royal Scotsman is a sleeper train that travels across Scotland, occasionally dropping further south into England. All journeys are round-trips departing and returning to Edinburgh Waverley station.
