Enjoy a leisurely brunch this morning as you glide through the countryside. Your journey takes you through the stunning landscapes of the Forest of Bowland and the Yorkshire Dales National Park. You will then travel along the southern coast of Cumbria before heading up the west coast, where you can admire views of the Irish Sea.
Arrive in Workington, your gateway to the Lake District, in the early afternoon. From there, you are chauffered to the Lingholm Estate, a Grade II listed Victorian mansion nestled by Derwentwater Lake, a place where children’s author Beatrix Potter enjoyed her summers.
