There are seven sleeper cars on La Dolce Vita, and each one represents the best of timeless Italian design. The train can hold up to 62 guests in 12 Deluxe Cabins, 18 Suite Cabins and one extra-special La Dolce Vita Suite. Pricing for the suite is available on request.

A journey on board La Dolce Vita promises gastronomic excellence. The menus have been meticulously created by Heinz Beck, the only three-Michelin starred chef in Rome. Beck is known globally for his impressive knowledge and passion for Italian cuisine. Every dish, even canapes and breakfast, has been crafted to showcase the unique traditions of the Italian regions the train passes through. He prides himself on using the freshest local ingredients. La Dolce Vita Orient Express travels across Italy through 14 regions from north to south. Occasionally, there will be itineraries including other European destinations, such as the 4-night Rome to Istanbul route. The primary hub of the train is Rome Ostiense station, so most journeys depart from there. Typically, journeys are one or two nights in duration, and travel to place such as Venice and Portofino, as well as spectacular locations in Sicily and Tuscany.
