Luxury Steam Train Alternatives to the Flying Scotsman for 2026
Unfortunately, we do not have any luxury journeys hauled by the Flying Scotsman on the schedule for 2026. We do, though, have a selection of luxury steam-hauled journeys that will be hauled by other vintage steam engines;

Should you have been interested in the route specifically from London to Edinburgh, there is only one option at the moment. The Caledonian Sleeper, which is not hauled by steam and is not vintage but very comfortable nevertheless, could be an option if the route from London to Edinburgh was an interest.
Alternatively, if Scottish tours of the Highlands were an option for you, then you could take a look at the Royal Scotsman luxury sleeper train here
