Eight new journeys added to our schedule
We are pleased to announce the addition of eight brand new luxury train journeys onboard the British Pullman commencing in August. Broadening our already highly diverse offering of luxury train journeys, these new day trips all bring something new and unique to our catalogue of excursions.
Our first new journey is a dinner hosted by Raymond Blanc. The celebrity chef himself will be taking passengers on a special culinary journey as he provides a multiple-course tasting menu complimented with fine wines and champagne. Meanwhile, the British Pullman will take scenic route cross country offering the ideal backdrop to this special journey.
Four new luxury day trips to the seaside have been added for that authentic British tradition to escape to the beach and what better way to visit the seaside than onboard the British Pullman. Visiting Broadstairs, Whitstable, Hastings and Margate, these new journeys offer a day out to a picturesque seaside town onboard one of the most luxurious trains in the world.
Another addition is to popular destination, Winchester. Set in late summer rather than Christmas, this latest journey gives passengers the afternoon to explore this city at leisure. With so much to offer, this trip promises to be a memorable one.
We are also delighted to announce another journey Oxford, this time to Waddesdon Manor. With a guided tour plus time at leisure, this journey is ideal for those who like to explore grand houses with exceptional grounds.

The Dinner Hosted by Raymond Blanc
A special journey hosted by Raymond Blanc himself, take a culinary journey as you sample some of the finest cuisine prepared fresh onboard by the celebrity chef himself. As the British Pullman tasks passengers on a scenic route through the Kent Gardens and along the coast, Raymond treats you to some of his finest seasonal dishes, all prepared fresh onboard in the kitchen car.
Each individual course is accompanied by fine wines and champagne that compliment the course you are sampling. This is a truly exceptional journey with a truly unique setting that guarantees to leave you wish lasting memories.

Cardiff
A day trip to Cardiff onboard the British Pullman promises to be a truly memorable day out. With time at leisure to spend as you wish, the afternoon is yours to explore this vibrant city including Cardiff Castle with 2,000 years of history or take a stroll around Bute Park. Perhaps spend some time around the many shops Cardiff has to offer before returning back to the train.
As with all of our British Pullman day trips, this journey includes a sparkling Bellini cocktail reception, a three-course brunch prepared fresh onboard, a champagne reception welcoming you back after your afternoon's adventure and a three-course dinner for the return journey.
Currently we have just one date for our Cardiff journey so we do recommend booking early.

Great British Seaside: Hastings
Take a trip to the seaside in style onboard the British Pullman luxury train. This 1920s beautifully restored vintage train is the ideal way to visit the beach and make a day trip even more special. Included in the ticket price is the outward and return journeys onboard the train, sparking Bellini reception, three-course brunch, morning tea and coffee, leisure time in Hastings, welcome champagne reception, three-course dinner and teas, coffees and petit fours.

Great British Seaside: Margate
A classic day trip to the seaside onboard the vintage 19209s British Pullman. Promising a day to remember, leave London for a scenic trip to the sea complete with three-course brunch, three-course dinner and time at leisure in Margate.
Spend an afternoon wandering the beaches or perhaps visit the Turner Contemporary art gallery before sampling the many boutique shops and cafés Margate has to offer. There's plenty to see and do at this glorious costal destination.

Great British Seaside: Whitstable
A journey similar to our Broadstairs offering, but this time heading to the charming seaside town of Whitstable. Known as Kent’s ‘oyster central’, Whitstable has an unmistakable seaside charm with its beautiful beaches lined with colourful beach huts, picturesque streets and beautiful views.
There is plenty to see in Whitstable with a large coastline, a 19th-century harbour and many various walks to explore. For a relaxing afternoon at the beach, there is little that can compare with our journey to Whitstable.
Everything you expect comes included in the ticket price such as sparkling Bellini cocktail reception, champagne reception, three-course brunch and three-course dinner accompanied by half a bottle of wine per person.

Waddesdon Manor

Historic Winchester
The beautiful city of Winchester may not be a new addition to our schedule, but this journey is. Normally our trips to Winchester are during the festive season where guests can explore the famous Winchester Christmas market and explore the boutique shops of this pretty Christmas city.
Our new journey, ‘Winchester at Leisure’, departs in August for a late summer journey to discover this incredible city. With it’s famous Cathedral, picturesque streets and long river walks, Winchester is the ideal place to visit for a relaxing afternoon.
Included in the ticket price is a sparkling Bellini cocktail welcome reception, three-course lunch, morning teas and coffees, leisure time around Winchester, welcome champagne reception, four-course dinner, half a bottle of wine per person and teas, coffees and petits fours.
