Orient Express day trips are the perfect way to experience train travel at its most luxurious, but at a much more affordable ticket price and without the need to pack a suitcase. A day trip on an Orient Express style train offers the same levels of luxury, comfort and exquisite cuisine in a single day, making it an ideal way to sample what life was like during the Golden Age of Travel.
All Orient Express style day trips depart from London Victoria and return the same day. They run every month throughout the year with a wide range of journeys to choose from including visits to stately homes and gardens or places of interest. The price of your ticket includes everything in your itinerary, which may include VIP visits to prestigious locations or even private tours, but every journey will include exquisite food prepared fresh onboard by talented chefs.
Travelling across the United Kingdom, you’ll be boarding one of the most luxurious trains in the entire world. After being welcomed aboard and shown to your seat, you’ll be in awe over the exquisite detail of the carriages, from the fine fabrics to beautifully crafted woods. During your journey, you’ll take in the glorious views as they float by, enjoy complimentary drinks and sample some of the worlds finest cuisine.
Please note: The original Orient Express ceased service in 1977. Day trips are held onboard the Belmond British Pullman, sister train of the Venice Simplon Orient Express, which ran a different route to the regular Orient Express but shared the same characteristics. The British Pullman offers the same levels of luxury with beautifully restored, authentic carriages, the main difference being the lack of sleeper cabins.
